1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CarbonMind Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
CarbonMind provides tools designed to estimate the environmental impact of AI
usage and facilitate voluntary carbon offsetting through third-party carbon credit
marketplaces.
CarbonMind does not issue carbon credits.
CarbonMind facilitates the voluntary purchase and retirement of carbon credits
through third-party marketplaces. CarbonMind does not guarantee the
performance, permanence, or environmental impact of any specific carbon credit
project.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. Subscription and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
5. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
• misuse the platform
• attempt to gain unauthorised access
• interfere with system functionality
• use the service for unlawful purposes
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service remain the property of CarbonMind Ltd.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted
service.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of
any kind.
CarbonMind Ltd makes no representations or warranties, whether express or
implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the
Service, including any emissions estimates generated through the platform.
CarbonMind relies on third-party data, models, and assumptions to estimate carbon
emissions. These estimates are indicative only and should not be relied upon as
precise measurements or used for regulatory, reporting, or compliance purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarbonMind Ltd shall not be liable for any:
• indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where it cannot be excluded
under applicable law.
Users acknowledge that emissions estimates are subject to inherent uncertainty
and variability.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where use of
the Service presents a legal, security, or operational risk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
